Pattern editing tools: adjust any pattern before you cut
Every pattern in PPF/Tint Studio can be edited before you cut it. You can mirror, rotate and scale pieces, group pieces so they move together, and keep several jobs open in separate tabs. The same tools are included in both plans.

The tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Mirror | Flips the selected piece across its own center. Useful for left and right panel pairs. |
| Rotate | Rotates the selected piece by the number of degrees you enter, with a keyboard shortcut for a quick 90° turn. |
| Scale | Resizes the selected piece by a percentage, centered on itself. |
| Group | Combines two or more pieces so they move, rotate, scale and mirror as one. |
| Ungroup | Splits a group back into its separate pieces, where they sit. |
| Nest | Arranges the selected pieces across your roll width. |
| Cut Order | Sets the sequence the plotter cuts pieces in. |
| Wrap Edge | Extends a section of an edge outward for wrapped installs. |
| EZ Weed | Adds a weeding border around a window tint piece. |
When a pattern opens, anything that sits inside a closed outline (an alignment hole inside a panel, for example) is grouped with that panel automatically, so the two never drift apart while you edit.
Common questions
Do my edits change the pattern for everyone?
No. You edit the copy open in your tab. To keep your version, save it to your account with Cloud Project Saves.
Can I have more than one job open?
Yes. Each pattern opens in its own tab, with its own layout and cut order.
