Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PPF/Tint Studio, including the desktop application, the pattern library, cloud project saves, and this website (together, the "Service"), operated as PPF/Tint Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to create an account or subscribe to the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that you're using it for legitimate business purposes.

3. The Service

PPF/Tint Studio is pattern-cutting software for paint protection film (PPF) and window tint installers, licensed on a subscription basis. Access to the vehicle pattern library depends on your active subscription plan, and geometry for licensed patterns is served from our servers rather than stored as files on your device.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

We may suspend or restrict access to an account we reasonably believe is being used in violation of these Terms, is engaged in fraudulent activity, or poses a security risk to the Service or other users, with notice to you where practical.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your access continues through the end of the period you've already paid for, and does not renew afterward.

Each plan is licensed for a single shop and up to the number of devices stated on the plan at checkout. Prices and plan features are as listed on this website at the time of purchase and may change for future billing periods with notice.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.

If you're a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because the Service grants access to digital content and hosted pattern data that begins immediately upon subscribing, by starting your subscription you acknowledge and agree that this withdrawal period does not apply once access to the Service has begun, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.

7. Pattern Library License

Patterns available through the Service are licensed for use within the Service by active subscribers — they are not sold to you as files, and you may not extract, copy, redistribute, resell, or share pattern geometry outside the Service. Your own project saves (patterns you create or work on yourself within the app) remain yours; we do not claim ownership over them.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent the licensing or access controls of the Service; not to share your account credentials with parties outside your own shop; and not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and pattern library, is owned by PPF/Tint Studio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that pattern geometry is free of error, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be compatible with every cutter or material. You are responsible for verifying pattern fit and cut quality before applying film to a customer's vehicle.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PPF/Tint Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost film material, or lost business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

If a dispute arises out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, we encourage you to contact us first at the email below so we can try to resolve it informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you and PPF/Tint Studio agree that it will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. This arbitration agreement does not apply to consumers in jurisdictions where such agreements are not enforceable by law, including consumers in the European Union, who may instead use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform or their local courts.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which PPF/Tint Studio is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the pattern library or licensing system. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date below.
